#Let’s go abroad

Studying abroad

Claudia, a member of our PLUSTRACK team, did an Erasmus semester in Liverpool, England – yes, that was before Brexit happened – and still loves to think about “one of the best times of her life”. Experiencing a different culture, reinventing yourself, partying with people from all over the globe, overcoming challenges far away from home, improving your language skills…a semester abroad is a unique opportunity to live in a different country for a longer period of time.

Often people fear the bureaucratic hurdles, but actually they are not that bad, you just need a bit of time and planning. Here at the University of Salzburg we have a great International Relations Department, who will advise you. Just arrange an appointment. Whether you want to do an internship abroad, study in a different European country with Erasmus (including financial support!) or on a different continent – a lot is possible.

Of course, studying is also part of the study abroad experience 🙂

ESN Salzburg
You don’t have the option to study abroad or have already come back and miss the cool international atmosphere? Would you like to chill with international students in Salzburg and speak other languages? If that’s the case, we can wholeheartedly recommend ESN to you, the Erasmus Student Network.

ESN organises cool parties and events and connects international incoming students with local students. You can simply attend one of their events or become a member of ESN.
