One day, we’ll finally be able to call ourselves “B.Sc.”, “M.A.”. “Mag.(a), or maybe even “Dr.”. It may seem far away, but often these things happen faster than you’d expect!

The good news is that there are ways for graduates to stay connected to the University of Salzburg even after graduation! Our university has an alumni club – a network of all graduates. Through the alumni club, you’ll regularly receive uni-related news and stay up to date on all things related to the University of Salzburg. Our years at uni are a very special time in our lives, so we appreciate having the option to still feel connected to the university after graduation and to stay in touch.

The alumni club also organizes many networking events, connecting graduates with one another and creating links between current students and experienced alumni.

Another thing we definitely recommend when you’re reaching the end of your studies: Attend your graduation ceremony! It’s a festive event, on which you receive your diploma. It’s also a great occasion to celebrate what you’ve achieved with your friends and family. We like to reminisce about our own graduation, when we celebrated and were simply proud of ourselves. Sign up with your favourite fellow students, book a cool lunch or dinner location for afterwards, and – if that’s your cup of tea – go out together in the evening and party hard.
