You can get to Lake Fuschl<\/strong> (Fuschlsee) by bus really quickly! It\u2019s especially beautiful in autumn. Within three hours you can walk around the lake \u2013 free from traffic noise but with a beautiful view! For an autumn picknick, we recommend Hofer Naturbadestrand, a natural beach. A long pier leads into the water and is ideal for a picknick, yoga or a cosy reading session.\u00a0<\/p>

Tip:<\/strong> Salzburg Verkehr, Salzburg\u2019s public transport company, occasionally offers petrol-free days. On those days you\u2019re allowed to use all public transport in Salzburg for free \u2013 amazing! So be sure to check for those days or treat yourself to a Klimaticket.<\/p>

If having a picnic whilst admiring mountain views sounds like your cup of tea, we recommend Gaisberg<\/strong>. Getting to its top is very accessible, since you can simply take the bus from Mirabell Square. It\u2019s ideal for getting a break from the city and escaping from all the worries of everyday life. Up there, they do seem much smaller. Gaisberg not only offers breathtaking views but also two alpine huts with great traditional cuisine (such as Kaiserschmarrn and Kaspresskn\u00f6delsuppe \u2013 a cheese dumpling soup).<\/p>

For all hiking enthusiasts: We prefer taking the trail from Schloss Aigen (Aigen Castle) to the top, which takes about two hours. A bit more relaxed is the hike to Nockstein<\/strong>, which takes about 40 minutes and starts from Koppl. Both summits are great spots for watching sunsets. If we can manage to get out of bed, we also enjoy climbing Nockstein in the morning to watch the sunrise.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

“The Bluntautal nature reserve<\/strong> is unique in its natural beauty and is one of the most enchanting spots in the Salzburg region. The crystal-clear waters of the Torrener Ache reflect a breathtaking mountain world and the deep green Bluntau lakes – surrounded by extensive meadows – are home to brown trout.\u201c \u2013 <\/em>Golling Info<\/p>

We love combining a trip to Bluntautal with a stop in Hallein, an ideal town for browsing.
