Do you know in which urban districts faculties of the University of Salzburg are located? Or what else to explore?<\/p><p>We can wholeheartedly recommend Fr\u00e4ulein Flora\u2019s guides for every urban district of Salzburg to find out more things to explore; for example, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraeuleinflora.at\/salzburg\/stadtteil-guide-fuer-die-altstadt\/\">here<\/a> you can find their Altstadt (Old Town) guide (only available in German).<\/p><p>We can also recommend <strong>residents&#8217; service centres<\/strong>. As the name suggests, these centers offer great services, such as repair caf\u00e9s. Skilled volunteers try to repair broken goods for free to fight throwaway-culture. These caf\u00e9s are also great places to socialise with others, bring different cultures together and promote volunteer work.<\/p><p>The repair caf\u00e9s are just one of the many great service provided by the residents\u2019 service centers. There are six of them! The NLW (Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences) in the South of Salzburg, the KW (Faculty of Arts &amp; Humanities) in Nonntal, three in the city centre: the GW (Faculty of Social Sciences), the RWW (Faculty of Law, Business and Economics), and the KTH (The Faculty of Catholic Theology); and, the newest faculty in Itzling: the DAS (The Faculty of Digital and Analytical Sciences). Have you been to all of them?\u00a0<\/p><p>Each of those faculties has its own library. We love visiting the different libraries, especially during exam season, to get a change of scenery and meet new people.<\/p><p><a Waldbad Anif and the Alm Canal are two great places for that! Located in the very South of Salzburg, next to the Salzach, Waldbad Anif is the perfect spot to let your mind wander. Besides the beautiful lake, you\u2019ll also find a small restaurant and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kletterpark-salzburg.at\/en\/\">rope course<\/a>.\u00a0 With the <a href=\"https:\/\/bezirks-gutscheinbuch.at\/\">Bezirksgutscheinbuch<\/a> (a voucher booklet for Salzburg) you\u2019ll also get a discount when you visit it with another person.<\/p><p>Our tip: Follow Waldbad Anif on Instagram (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/waldbad.anif\/?hl=de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@waldbad.anif<\/a>) to get the latest news on events! <br \/>The Alm Canal is close to the Leopoldskroner Weiher, an important local and nature recreation area. At the Alm Canal, you\u2019ll find a lawn for sunbathing, and a beautiful green-blue waterway. Its surf wave even makes it a hotspot for surfers!
