Salzburg is such a gorgeous city! I, Claudia, have been living here for over 10 years and still can’t get over HOW beautiful Salzburg is. Among many other factors, this is because of the amazing panoramic views visible from almost everywhere in the city. You may wonder where you can get the best views of Untersberg and Gaisberg. Just get up the roofs of the city! Two faculties also have rooftops that you can visit!<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences in the south of Salzburg has many rooftop terraces.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

#1 rooftop terrace, first floor\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

This rooftop terrace is located on the first floor, opposite the library. Especially in the summer, it\u2019s a dream! Coffee breaks between lectures, soaking up the sun and fresh air: perfect.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Tip: You can borrow a hammock from the library and set it up there! It can hardly get any cozier!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

#2 rooftop terrace, third floor\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

A real hidden gem! Just enter NLW through the main entrance and take the right staircase up to the third floor. Walk into the foyer and behind the wooden benches you\u2019ll find the door to the terrace. There you can enjoy amazing views of Gaisberg, Festungsberg (where the fortress is located) and of course Untersberg. In my opinion, this spot offers some of the best views of the whole city!\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

A bit closer to the city is the rooftop terrace at UNIPARK. It\u2019s a real student favourite. How to get there? Easy! Just walk into UNIPARK and take the elevator up to the top floor. Besides the amazing views, you can even find a caf\u00e9, called Eden Caf\u00e9 Skybar, which offers reeeeally good coffee and comfortable seating. It\u2019s a great spot to relax after a long lecture or plan the next presentation while eating yummy food.
